RIVAL® TOP 20 SG is a sulphonylurea herbicide for the post-emergence control of broadleaf weeds in wheat, barley, oats, rye, triticale crops. It is absorbed by leaves and roots and it is rapidly translocated into the entire plant. It inhibits cell division in the growth peaks of sprouts and roots in sensitive weeds. Weed growth is stopped a few hours after application, but visible symptoms appear 5-10 days afterwards and weeds die 15-25 days after application. Less sensitive weeds and the weeds in an advanced stage of growth remain small and no longer compete the crop plants in the absorption of water and nutrients.
Application is possible during cold weather at temperatures exceeding + 5°C.
RIVAL® TOP 20 SG enters plant tissues quickly and after 2 hours from application, it is resistant to rain washing.
