Emulsifiable concentrate
LEOPARD 5 EC (50 g/L quizalofop-p-ethyl) is an Emulsifiable concentrate based on quizalofop-P-ethyl (50 g/L), composed of the aryloxyphenoxypropinoate chemical group. The product is in the form of a clear, homogeneous, mobile, yellow-colored liquid. It is neither explosive nor corrosive. The product is stable under normal storage and handling conditions.
LEOPARD 5 EC EC is a post-emergence herbicide used to combat monocotyledon annual (up to the twin phase) and perennial (up to a maximum height of 15-20 cm) weeds.
It is quickly absorbed by the leaves of the weeds (in about 2 to 3 hours) and translocates to all intense growth points, including roots and rhizomes. By inhibiting some lipids from the meristematic cells, LEOPARD 5 EC causes the death of the weeds. Thus, after only a few days after application, the target weeds cease growing, the young leaves gaining a yellowish tint. Two weeks after treatment, the entire plant is dried. The herbicidal action of the product is even faster as the weeds are in a younger stage and the vegetation conditions are optimal for growth (temperature, sufficient humidity, light).
